Media and Technology

EDUC: 5113 Introduction to Research

Provides the student with an introduction to literature and techniques of research, with application in individual study projects. Primary emphasis is focused on application of research in education to the classroom setting.

LIBED: 3423 Media and Technology

Media and Technology is designed to develop skills in identifying  productive uses of technology , particularly the technology making use of common software packages such as Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Front Page and Excel.  Since all of these application programs are interrelated and the skills developed in one are transferable in general, to similar groups of integrated software packages.  Projects will be assigned to the teacher candidate that require integration of skills in all the application programs.  Skills in the use of the Internet as a learning resource will also be developed.
