car from 1982-2005. Over 200,000 miles and lots of smiles until I
sold it.
My “new” Datsun 510 is a 1971 wagon. I
bought it as an unfinished project and it is still unfinished. : (
Here's the list of modifications I made to the old car:
LZ22 engine w/10:1 CR
Z22 block, crank, rods, and pistons
L20B U67 head (milled 0.065) with 44mm 280Z intake valves
DAMB cam and shortened 240Z cam spraybar
Dual 38mm Hitachi SU carburetors w/M66 needles (soon to be EFI!)
Factory 4 into 2 exhaust manifold; custom extra long 2 into 1 pipe
2" exhaust into oversized glasspack and turbo muffler
280ZX turbo wheels with 205-50/15 tires
Mulholland 3/4" rear anti-sway bar
ST springs and matching Tokico shocks/strut cartridges
Sentra SE-R front seats
