My graduate education focussed on Pharmacology and
Toxicology. Areas of research interest include substances of abuse
(especially cocaine and the anabolic-androgenic steroids) and agrichemicals
(insecticides, herbicides) and their effects on varying systems, especially
behavioural pharmacology and toxicology and cardiovascular pharmacology and
toxicology. I am also keenly interested in drugs and poisons of natural
origins (reflecting my basic grounding in pharmacognosy at the University of
Mississippi). I have published papers or monographs in these
areas.
