A, the University Greys, composed in part of University of Mississippi students who enlisted for service in the Confederate army. This building, now called Ventress Hall and housing the offices of the School of Liberal Arts, has recently undergone extensive renovations. The window was restored and remains intact.

Military Miniature Artist Gregg Heilers has sculpted a figure of an 11th Mississippi infantry man. This figure depicts a sergeant of the 11th in the early uniform of the regiment that is trimmed in red.
More recently, noted Civil War artist Dale Gallon memorialised the 11th Mississippi in his painting "Brian's Farm". This painting depicts the left flank of Confederates in the famous Pickett-Trimble-Pettigrew Charge at Gettysburg on 3 July 1983.
